Based on a systematic review of literature on BIM adoption, Faisal Shehzad et al (2020) identified 74 significant influencing factors including management support, regulatory support, cross-party knowledge sharing, competitor motivation, grouping the factors as individual, organisational, technology and environmental factors. Similarly, through a review of literature and conducting a survey, Liao and Teo (2017), identified 32 factors influencing BIM adoption in the construction industry.…”

“…We address the identified lack of detail and contribute to the existing literature by identifying and describing how enabling factors are implemented by contractor firms to transform their organisations through the adoption and use of BIM for projects.
