Abstract:Ammonia (NH3), as an important chemical product, is industrially produced using the traditional energy-intensive Haber-Bosch method at high temperature and pressure. Electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR) to synthesize NH3 at ambient conditions has been considered as a promising candidate for replacing Haber-Bosch process.
