Abstract:In a relativistic heavy ion collision, heavy flavor (charm and bottom) quarks are mostly created via hard processes at the early stage of the collisions. We present the latest results of the azimuthal anisotropy coe cients E n for prompt and nonprompt D 0 mesons in PbPb, pPb, and pp collisions from the CMS experiment. The studies are about collectivity phenomena in smaller systems (pp and pPb collisions), searches for the e ects of very strong electromagnetic fields created in the initial stages of ultrarelati… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
