Abstract:Reading is a complicated activity that involves cognitive and metacognitive strategies. Metacognitive strategies can be used to understand a text. Metacognitive strategies can help individuals to regulate their knowledge, manipulate information, and reflect understanding, to capture the meaning of the text.
