Abstract:Geothermal waters in Yellowstone National Park contribute large quantities of arsenic to the headwaters of the Madison River. The Madison River flows for about 150 miles to the confluence of the Jefferson and Gallatin Rivers near Three Forks where the Missouri River begins.
