Reconstitution and functional characterization of efflux pumps from Escherichia coli

Abstract: Resistant microbes are a growing concern. It was estimated that about 33,000 of people die because of the infections caused by multidrug resistant bacteria each year in Europe (ECDC, 2018, https://www.ecdc.europa.eu/).
