Reconstruction of hepatic veins in liver resection. Technique and possibility of prophylaxis of posthepatectomy liver failure

Abstract: Reconstruction of hepatic veins allow to safely perform radical parenchyma-preserving liver resection in patients with compromised liver function due to liver cirrhosis, fibrosis or steatosis.
