Reconstruction of Partial Helical Defects

Abstract: The authors have indicated no significant interest with commercial supporters.A 79-year-old man presented with a 3.5 · 1.5 cm full-thickness defect of the upper corner of the right helix due to resection of basal cell carcinoma at another institute (Figure 1). A postoperative scar was present along the auricular rim. How would you reconstruct this defect? Figure 1. Defect of the upper corner of the right helix. A scar is observed at the edge of the defect.
