Abstract:Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) is a rare and very aggressive skin cancer. An 83-year-old female presented with a 1.5 cm-sized non-tender mass on her left cheek and was diagnosed with MCC. The margin of MCC was well-defined and there was no cervical node metastasis on pre-operative computed tomography. Three weeks after the first visit, the mass rapidly increased in size.
