Abstract:Conventional reflectivity imaging with Ultrasound Tomography (USCT) reconstructs qualitative images proportional to the magnitude of the impedance gradient. We propose a method to additionally recover the scatter characteristics for each reconstructed voxel, i.e. whether a reflection is diffuse or specular.
