Abstract:Sewage sludge is used as a fertilizer in agriculture to rehabilitate deteriorated soils and replace artificial fertilizers. Sludge can be utilized to improve soil characteristics, promote microbial life, and increase plant production where it includes the primary nutrients and organic matter.
