Recovery of TiCl4from the slurry formed in raw titanium tetrachloride by extraction with halogenated hydrocarbon

Abstract: The recovery of TiCl 4 from the slurry formed in raw titanium tetrachloride was studied and a new environment friendly process was developed by selective extraction, gravity sedimentation and distillation. The results from the experiment confirmed that this technology was an effective method for the recovery of TiCl 4 from the slurry.
