Abstract:In 2012, the United States environmental protection agency (USEPA) prepared a list of 129 organic and inorganic pollutants found in wastewater that constitute serious health hazards. This list includes the following heavy metals: cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury, nickel and zinc.
