Recruiting and Preparing Undergraduate Students for a Collegiate Debate: An HBCU Case Study

Abstract: The benefits of debate as an effective pedagogical tool in higher education are well-published. It fosters students’ development of critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication skills.
