Rectal adenocarcinoma coexisting with incidentally found microscopic gastrointestinal stromal tumor

Abstract: Rationale: Adenocarcinoma coexists with adjacent microscopic gastrointestinal stromal tumor (micro-GIST) is rare, especially in the rectum, where the gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) have the lower incidence rate.
