Abstract:Autoimmune Congenital Heart Block (CHB) is an immune-mediated disease caused by transplacental passage of maternal circulating anti-Ro/SSA and anti-La/SSB antibodies which can bind to fetal cardiac tissue, damaging conduction tissues by inflammation and fibrosis.
