Recurrent gastric cancer metastasizing to the bone marrow: A case report of a rare presentation

Abstract: HighlightsGastric cancer has a high rate of recurrence post curative surgical resection.Metastatic gastric cancer typically involves visceral or peritoneal surfaces but bone marrow involvement can occur.Elevated alkaline phosphatase and pancytopenia post curative resection should raise suspicion for recurrent disease.
