Abstract:ObjectivesThe aim of this study is to describe the incidence and demographics of laryngeal papillomatosis (LP) in Denmark, including sex and age distribution, recurrence rates, and HPV subtypes, using a new method of register identification.MethodsThe data were extracted from the Danish Pathology Data Bank using SNOMED codes instead of the usual method using ICD codes from the Danish National Health Register.
