Modern Chinese traditional instruments have also embarked on a path of learning from Western musicology. Most research on instrument improvement has focused solely on Western instruments and issues inherent to the instruments themselves. However, to explore further directions for the improvement of Chinese instruments and enhance the quality of instrument creation and performance, this paper employs grounded theory to construct a “Sound Performance—Subject Driving—Environmental Inducing” dynamic model (SSE) for the improvement of Chinese traditional instruments. This model analyzes the various factors and driving mechanisms influencing improvement. We found that sound optimization is the main force driving instrument improvement, exerting the greatest influence on the improvement process. In terms of external driving forces, professional knowledge and esthetic pursuit play a crucial role, forming a dynamic triangular relationship among instrument manufacturers, performers, and Chinese traditional music groups. The dynamic changes in instrument improvement, through this triangular interaction, are ultimately influenced by cultural recognition, social policy, and technological innovation.

Enjoying the benefits presented by the information age can enhance the effectiveness of learning musical poetics in instrumental music, which constitutes intangible cultural heritage. This paper addresses the effectiveness of the academic program in instrumental music poetics (which was uploaded on YouTube) in order to specify cultural heritage popularization options. The survey was conducted among 200 students from two music schools in China. The results of group B demonstrated the effectiveness of video tutorials uploaded on YouTube in learning musical poetics in Chinese instrumental music. The difference between the groups was especially noticeable when evaluating the “theoretical knowledge” and “final exam” criteria. After Group B’s semiannual exposure, a survey addressing the understanding of the musical poetics’ intangible cultural value revealed a large-scale difference in the results compared to the data obtained in January (p-values of 0.034 for questions about cultural value and 0.001 for questions about online promotion), while no statistically significant improvement was observed for group A. Group B saw an intense increase in the understanding of responsibility for preserving the country’s intangible cultural values (+ 26.8%) and confidence in the knowledge of traditional Chinese tools (+ 25.1%) on the Agree scale. This study has practical value and is important for further research because it demonstrates the effectiveness of innovative technology for studying musical poetics and the popularization of intangible cultural values. Research findings may be used by educational institutions, in academic programs and research.
Currently, teaching Russian in Chinese universities is an urgent and important area of scientific research. The peculiarity of learning the Russian language is that the process of teaching students cannot be limited solely to the development of literate speech and writing skills. An important component of training is the formation of moral qualities of students, which contributes to successful communication and cooperation with representatives of Russian-speaking countries. According to statistics, the number of Chinese students studying Russian in 2021 was about 10,000 people. Within the framework of this study, the results of the analysis of the features of moral education of students in the classrooms of the Russian language in Chinese universities are presented. The main purpose of the study is to determine the most effective methods and approaches that contribute to the successful formation of moral qualities of students. The study is based on an analysis of teaching practice conducted over two years (from 2021 to 2023) in 10 Chinese universities, including Peking University, Fudan University and Tsinghuang University. The research methodology includes the collection and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data obtained through surveys of students and teachers, as well as the study of educational materials and programs used in the process of teaching the Russian language. The study revealed that the main problems in the field of moral education of students are insufficient attention to the cultural and moral aspects of the Russian language, limited use of methods and approaches that contribute to the formation of moral qualities of students, as well as a low level of intercultural competence of teachers and students are mentioned.
