Industry swiftlets nest is not a new industry in Malaysia. It gets very high demand from China. Harvesting swiftlets nest is one of the processes to produce any products that made from swiftlets nest. Currently, they are using manual harvesting equipment to harvest swiftlets nest without using any auxiliary equipment. It is the first step in process flow and very important role before cleaning process. The objectives of this project are to design mechanism harvesting equipment to harvest swiftlets nest and to decrease the time of harvesting swiftlets nest process in a swiftlets house in a day. The methodology of research is including collect data, brainstorming, design concept generation, concept selection and simulation analysis. The design of harvesting equipment is using CAD software and analyze using FEA analysis. At the end of this project, this research will give understanding about design using CAD software and analysis that improved the harvesting equipment.

Nowadays contractors in Malaysia is still using the traditional way in the process of plastering wall. This traditional way not only wastes time, less efficiency and low production but also high in human intensity. Based on the innovation and creativeness, this research is to design an Auto-Plastering Machine. The Auto-Plastering Machine can improve the operation rate is much quicker compared to the traditional method due to less labor with experienced or non-experiences workers able to be used. This machine helps contractors in the construction industry of a building or dwelling in improving the efficiency of time and smoothen plaster finishing. It will perform well compare to the traditional plasterwork process.

The manufacturing sector is one of the most influential sectors in a country's economy, as it determines its current status and growth. Within this, the food and beverage industry is one of the biggest ones, representing a large part of the sector in Peru. Hence, the purpose of this research will be to improve the efficiency of one company in the food and beverage industry. Through the tools of Systematic Layout Planning and 5S, belonging to the Lean Manufacturing methodology, measures were proposed in order to achieve the objective. The first consists of generating proposals for plant distribution that allow optimizing times and reducing distances. Through the ARENA software, this tool could be simulated, obtaining promising results. As for the 5S, this will allow to keep the work areas clean and organized, managing to improve the flow of materials and the work environment. This research succeeded to increase the efficiency of the company's plant, demonstrating the effectiveness of these tools. In this way, this paper will serve for future research on Lean Manufacturing tools applied in the food and beverage industry.
