Abstract: Copper phosphide (Cu 3−x P) nanocrystals are promising materials for nanoplasmonics due to their substoichiometric composition, enabling the generation and stabilization of excess delocalized holes and leading to localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) absorption in the near-IR.
