Reducing Submodule Capacitance for Modular Multilevel Converter-Based Medium-Voltage Wind Power Converter

Abstract: This study presents a strategy to reduce the capacitance of the submodule (SM) capacitor of a modular multilevel converter-based medium-voltage wind power converter.
