Refractory celiac disease and EATL patients show severe malnutrition and malabsorption at diagnosis

Abstract: The nutritional status of patients with RCDII and EATL is inferior compared with untreated naïve CD patients at presentation. Both malabsorption as well as hypermetabolism contribute to malnutrition.
