But the use of nifedipine continues, and cases are still reported (3,14,15,17,18). In recent case reports, Kannan et al (17) described concomitant use of nifedipine and labetalol that caused hypotension in a complicated delivery with placental abruption, and Schier et al (19) notified hypotension and fatality from administration of labetalol and crushed extended‐release nifedipine.…”
