Abstract:Frequent irritation in the oral cavity can result in a benign condition called focal fibrous hyperplasia. This condition is rarely associated with an open apex in the teeth. This case report details the treatment of a patient with an open apex in teeth 11 and 12, worsened by localised fibrous hyperplasia.
