Abstract: BACKGROUND Primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD) is an inherited autosomal-recessive disorder of impaired mucociliary clearance characterized by chronic respiratory diseases, otolaryngological diseases, central nervous system abnormalities, reproductive system abnormalities, and cardiac function abnormalities.
