Regional cooling potential from expansion of perennial grasses in Europe

Abstract: Perennial grasses are an option to mitigate global warming, increase energy security, and alleviate environmental pressures within agricultural landscapes. Their cultivation alters near-surface temperature in ways that are still largely unclear.
