“…The frontal thrust and its splay are buried under Plio‐Pleistocene deposits, but they are evident in seismic lines and highlighted in morphotectonic studies. The Outermost Basal detachment and/or the Casoli and Bomba major inner splays are considered responsible for the most significant historical events of the area, which are the 1706 (Mw 6.8) and 1933 (Mw 5.9) earthquakes (DISS Working Group, 2015; Lavecchia et al., 2021). The westernmost sector of the study area comprises part of the Roman Comagmatic Province (Peccerillo, 1985) near the Tyrrhenian coast, more specifically, the area lacking volcanism between the Southernmost tip of the Albani Hills (Latium) and the Roccamonfina Volcano (Campania).…”
