Abstract:A recombinant inbred line mapping population was developed from a cross between the heritage malting barley (Hordeum vulgare ssp. vulgare) cultivar ‘Golden Promise’ and ‘Otis’, a feed barley cultivar developed in the 1960s suitable for the high dry plains.
