Regulation of Clostridium tetani Neurotoxin Expression by Culture Conditions

Abstract: Background: Ensuring consistency of tetanus neurotoxin (TeNT) production by Clostridium tetani could help to ensure consistent product quality in tetanus vaccine manufacturing, ultimately contributing to reduced animal testing.
