Regulation of magnetoresistance in SmxMn1-xS by weak external pressure
A M Kharkov,
M N Sitnikov
Abstract:Magnetoresistive effects in SmxMn1-xS (x = 0.1) are investigated under the influence of weak external pressure versus temperature and magnetic field. The angular dependence of the magnetoresistance upon changing the direction of the magnetic field is found. A decrease in magnetoresistance with an increase in current at certain temperatures is found. The experimental data are explained by a change in the external pressure on the sample.
