Reinforcement of Clay Soils through Fracture Grouting

Abstract: Fracture grouting is widely used for building foundation reinforcement, however the underpinning mechanisms are still not clear. Using numerical results about a single-hole fracture grouting process as a basis, a model composed of soil and grouting veins has been created to analyze the reinforcement mechanism.
