Abstract:Academics have focused on agri-food in recent years. To feed 9.8 billion people by 2050 and 11.2 billion by 2100, global food output must treble. Over 33% of global food output, or 930 million tons, is lost or wasted in the agri-food supply chain, leaving 800 million people hungry, according to the FAO.
