“…16 In our study, we found that preoperative MPV measurements let counts, and hemoglobin levels and they reported that there was no significant difference between groups. 17 In our study, we found the lowest hemoglobin and hematocrit levels in endometrial carcinoma group. investigated.…”

“…In the study performed by Karateke et al in patients with endometrial carcinoma and endometrial hyperplasia, the highest MPV values were determined in the endometrial carcinoma group and the lowest MPV values were determined in the control group. Karateke et al compared the groups with respect to white blood cell counts, platelet counts, and hemoglobin levels and they reported that there was no significant difference between groups . In our study, we found the lowest hemoglobin and hematocrit levels in endometrial carcinoma group.…”

“…Although recent studies have clearly demonstrated that RDW is a reliable biomarker for cardiovascular morbidity and mortality, the underlying mechanism between inflammation and elevated RDW levels remains unclear. It is currently believed that cancer is developed from chronic inflammation . The mechanism of RDW elevation in patients with invasive hydatidiform mole is still under investigation, but the possible mechanisms include the following.…”

“…There are many studies demonstrated that increased MPV was significantly related with colon cancer (Li et al, 2014), lung cancer (Kumagai et al, 2015), gastric cancer (Kılınçalp et al, 2014), endometrial carcinoma (Karateke et al, 2015) and in head and neck neoplasms (Eryilmaz et al, 2015). In the literature, increased N/L ratio was significantly related with the lung cancer (Kemal et al, 2014), gastric cancer (Kim et al, 2015), colon cancer (Absenger et al, 2013) and papillary thyroid cancer DOI:http://dx.doi.org/10.7314/APJCP.2016.17.4.2321 Inflammatory Hematological Parameters in Benign Nodular Goiter andPapillary Thyroid Cancer (Seretis et al, 2013).…”
