The findings from Pishghadam and Sahebjam's (2012) study of emotional intelligence consistently show that there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and burnout, which has also been proven by the study of Saiiari et al, (2011) that proved a significant negative relationship between emotional intelligence and burnout among sports teachers.
