【Purpose】To report a case of anisometropic amblyopia with orthoptic training using a virtual reality (VR) device in the past three years. 【Case】The patient in this case was a 6-year-old girl diagnosed with anisometropic amblyopia. Although her visual acuity was improved with eye glasses and occlusion training, stereopsis was 100″ at the age of 9. Stereopsis was improved to 40″ after stereoscopic training with a VR device and has remained at 60″ for 3 years. 【Conclusion】When the treatment effect of pleoptics was not as expected due to occlusion training, stereoscopic training with a VR device can help improve stereopsis in eyes with amblyopia. However, consideration should be given the age and environment of the user as well as any possible impact on the user's body or health condition.
