Reliability Analysis of Condition Monitoring Network of Wind Turbine Blade Based on Wireless Sensor Networks

Abstract: This paper proposes a reliability analysis method for the condition monitoring network of wind turbine blade based on wireless sensor networks. Two critical factors which play significant roles in the reliability evaluation of the monitoring network are focused on, that is, the reliability of sensor nodes and the reliability of communication links. Firstly, with the established reliability models for sensor nodes and communication links, the method of establishing reliability simulation model of monitoring net… Show more

“…For example, in the problem of node naming, some scholars believe that there is no need to assign a unique identifier to each node, and use attribute-based methods to identify a class of nodes [10]. Scholars believe that each node needs to be assigned a unique identifier [11]- [14].…”

“…Other methods such as LH, SS and IS can be incorporated to decrease the computational burden of MCS. ( Aryai and Mahmoodian, 2017 ; Fu et al, 2018 ; Graf et al, 2018 ; Leheta et al, 2017 ) Transformation/Approximation Methods Approximate the failure domain mainly using first or higher order Taylor expansion at the design point. FORM, SORM and Response Surface Method (RSM) Easy to implement and computationally efficient.…”

“…In the recent research work, a fuzzy based fault diagnosis algorithm has been studied in order to overcome such failure events intelligently [5]. In other previous research works of [6] and [7], WT power system applying WSN have been considered to increase the reliability of fault diagnosis. In [6], the overall reliability of condition monitoring network based on WSN is focused.…”
