Reliable assessment of telomere maintenance mechanisms in neuroblastoma

Abstract: Background: Telomere maintenance mechanisms (TMM) are a hallmark of high-risk neuroblastoma, and are conferred by activation of telomerase or alternative lengthening of telomeres (ALT).
