Abstract:In this study, the adsorption of three different blue anthraquinone dye classes (Reactive, Acid and Disperse dyes) were investigated using activated carbon fibre prepared from polyacrylonitrile (PAN) waste. The use of polyacrylonitrile based activated carbon fiber (PAN-ACF) for the adsorption of these dyes has been examined using exhaustion method at different operational conditions such as dye concentration and adsorption temperature. It was found that the adsorption of the anthraquinone dyestuffs on PAN-ACF … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
