Abstract:Laurence-Moon-Bardet-Biedl Syndrome, also known as Bardet-Biedl Syndrome, falls under the category of hereditary ciliopathies. This rare genetic disorder is associated with multiple organ impairments. The aim of the article is to characterize the syndrome and explain the pathogenetic mechanisms of the renal disorders along with their clinical manifestations.
