Reoperations for Malfunction of Heart Valve Prostheses, Especially with Endocarditis

Abstract: Following the increasing number of patients with heart valve replacement and an extended indication (older age groups, acute infective endocarditis, multivalvular procedures) the indicence of malfunction of valve prostheses is continuously growing.
