Repair of CFTR mRNA by spliceosome-mediated RNA trans-splicing

Abstract: Most messenger RNA precursors (pre-mRNA) undergo cissplicing in which introns are excised and the adjoining exons from a single pre-mRNA are ligated together to form mature messenger RNA.
