Abstract:Osteomas are benign bony lesions that can occur throughout the craniofacial skeleton. Surgical excision can be an effective treatment, as recurrence is relatively uncommon. Outside of incomplete resection, causes of recurrence are poorly documented, especially in the pediatric population.
