“…Recording was for 1.5 h pre-dose, with the last 30 min classified as the control (pre-dose) period. Animals were then removed from the chambers for oral (by gavage) dosing of theophylline (10 mg/kg), baclofen (5 mg/kg) (both Sigma, Poole, Dorset, UK) or vehicle (water for injection) and immediately returned to the chambers, where measurements were continued for a further 4 h.
