Reporting ‘African gangs’: Theorising journalistic practice during a multi-mediated moral panic

Abstract: This article uses Bourdieusian field theory to examine how journalistic practices contributed to a multi-mediated moral panic about ‘African gangs’ in Melbourne, Australia.
