Abstract: As demandas de organização, representação, armazenamento, acesso e uso de unidades organizacionais têm suscitado reflexões sobre o uso de softwares que possibilitem a construção de repositórios digitais. Os repositórios digitais são sistemas de informação que armazenam, preservam, divulgam e dão acesso à produção intelectual de comunidades científicas ou pessoas.
