Repressing expression of difficult‐to‐express recombinant proteins during the selection process increases productivity of CHO stable pools

Abstract: More than half of licensed therapeutic recombinant proteins (r‐proteins) are manufactured using constitutively‐expressing, stably‐transfected Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) clones.
