Abstract:Reptiles are a diverse group of vertebrates, including turtles, crocodiles, lizards and snakes, as well as the extinct dinosaurs, pterosaurs, plesiosaurs and ichthyosaurs. Reptiles lay cleidoic eggs (adapted to dry land), and they include the ancestors of birds and mammals.
