Abstract: Breast cancer is a leading cause of cancer-related morbidity and mortality worldwide, with the highest incidence among women. Among the various subtypes of breast cancer, estrogen-receptor positive (ER+) is the most diagnosed. Estrogen upregulates cyclin D1, which in turn promotes the activity of CDK4/6 and facilitates cell cycle progression.
