Abstract:We describe a case where prompt myocardial rescue revascularization at the time of arterial switch operation (ASO) for D-transposition of the great arteries (D-TGA) was fundamental for overcoming the acute intraoperative myocardial injury and for restoring prompt left ventricular function.
